Currently, there are many hair straightening chemicals that are being sold. However, all these different types of chemicals have largely the same components.
While we often hear about Damage-less or Less Damaging Hair Straightening, this is dependent on the salon's policy and the stylists.
Choosing a chemical suitable for your hair is possible, but is it possible for the hair to be straightened without any damage?
Recently, there has been some bleaching chemicals that would not cause waves in the hair even if a large amount is applied or even if it is not applied properly.
In Art-Noise hair salon, before the hair is straightened, our in-house shampoo and treatment is first used to provide the necessary nutrients and moisture to be absorbed into the hair.
The insides of damaged hair are hollow and absorb chemicals faster than normal. Therefore, it may react to chemical services faster than usual or take more damage than usual.
As such, in Art-Noise, we will first introduce nutrients that protect the hair into the hair. One of the nutrient component is Pellicer. Developed by Asahi Kasei, it has been recognized as the world's first component that is able to improve the hair.
You can expect a better completion with this coupled with our stylist's experience and skills.
Which type of stylist is most suitable to request for hair straightening? A stylist who is familiar with handling the chemicals as well as the procedure would be good. This would mean a stylist with a longer experience. However, recently there have been in increase in the number of hair stylist assistants who specialize in hair straightening. Still, without sufficient practice, they may still be unable to do it well. On the other hand, a beginner stylist would not have this problem. Hence, it would be good to engage in a thorough counseling with your stylist before getting your hair straightened. With this, you can judge how well the stylist is able to dispel your worries. If you feel that you can leave it to this stylist, he/she should do fine.
Nonetheless, going to a salon specializing in hair straightening is not recommended. Going to a normal salon for hair straightening would be better as the stylists are able to deal with various situations and types of hair procedures and not just hair straightening.
Still, if your hair is badly damaged, it is advisable not to do hair straightening. It can be easier to handle your hair if it is straightened however, by straightening it, it will damage your hair which may result in it being even harder to handle. In this case, it would be better to do treatment and then use a conditioner so that the hair becomes easier to handle.
Therefore, it would be best if you could get a stylist who has the courage to suggest otherwise after looking at your hair type. Such a stylist would be able to make the best recommendations for you. If your hair is not suitable for straightening for some period of time, do care for your hair at home as this may reduce the duration of the period.
Even if you get a Damage-less Hair Straightening, it is still necessary to care for your hair at home.
